In reply, Lahore Qalandars openers put 50 on the board but once Zaman fell, the gates opened up. Sultans spinners ran through Lahore and took wickets regularly. Faisal Akram took two wickets but Usama Mir was the star with the ball. He took 6 wickets. Someone had to play a big innings but none of their batters hung in there till the end. A pretty comfortable win for Multan Sultans.
A one-sided affair in the end! Lahore Qalandars just can't catch a break. They continue to wait for their first points. Multan Sultans made a great decision by batting first. Reeza Hendricks and Usama Mir batted well, Tahir and Iftikhar Ahmed played a brilliant cameo but the star of the show was Usman Khan who fell 4 short of his ton. He just kept the intent going and batted almost throughout.
