India’s major player’s injury concern may hurt India more which reflects in the result. The players include Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer & Rishabh Pant are officially ruled out of the WTC Final 2023 which is set to be played against Australia at Ovals ground in June month this year.
India named Ishan Kishan as the replacement for KL Rahul in the WTC final. The injured Rahul is set to undergo surgery. Even if it is completed KL Rahul can’t play the WTC final. The first choice of keeper is already set. Ishan Kishan is the second choice. Also the question is why Saha is not added to the squad. Saha is in good form in the IPL and also more experienced than Ishan Kishan. Even Sarfaraz Khan who had plenty of runs in domestic cricket is not selected. Maybe the BCCI picked Ishan Kishan for attacking the spinners like Rishab pant does.
Also the pacers Umesh Yadav and Jaydev Unadkat are also under the scanner for injuries and tend to miss the WTC final but it is not officially confirmed. If they both suffer then it is very tough for India.

India additionally added 3 standby players including Surya Kumar Yadav, Ruturaj Gaikwad & Mukesh Kumar.
