Naseem Shah is representing Gloucestershire this County Championship season.
Pakistan pacer was roped in by the English county club Gloucestershire for the ongoing County Championship season. The youngster looked to create an impression with the ball in hand in order to be on the selectors’ radar and make a comeback to his national team. Despite having made his international debut at the raw age of 16, Shah has been in and out of the team for a while.
Furthermore, it has also been confirmed that after a mutual discussion between the medical teams of both Gloucestershire and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), they have decided to manage the workload of the youngster so that he can regain complete fitness.
Shah had come to play the English county after a grueling few months which included the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and then the home Test series against Australia. Meanwhile, it has been reported that two overseas players Marcus Harris and Zafar Gohar will continue to play in the County Championship in the youngster’s absence.
