...Presentation...
Dunith Wellalage wins the Player of the Match award. He says he tried to play his normal game and kept things simple. Tellls Powell told him to play his normal game and just support each other. Shares it feels good to play along with Maheesh Theekshana as he is a great bowler.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will be gutted as another 10-15 runs and they would have turned the tide to their favour. However, it wasn't meant to be. Their bowlers tried hard. Kyle Mayers and Anrich Nortje at the top and the spinners, Veerasammy Permaul and Wanindu Hasaranga in the middle but the game slipped away as Barbados Royals targeted the fifth bowler. Mohammad Mohsin went for plenty and so did Ryan John. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots had the option of Mayers for the final over but as said, it wasn't meant to be for them today.
Barbados Royals had a par score to chase down but with the pitch doing a lot they had to be cautious with how they approach the target. They weren't helped at the top as Barbados Royals lost both the openers inside the Powerplay. Kadeem Alleyne played a quick innings of 30 but it was the stand of Dunith Wellalage and Rovman Powell which brought a lot of calmness by bringing the chase in their grasp. However, they lost both inside an over but Young kept his calm and finished things off for his team.
An absolute thriller of a game to watch out and it is Barbados Royals who come out on top. The game was hanging on fine thread but it was Nyeem Young who showed better nerves to get his team over the line. Barbados Royals have now won 5 consecutive matches against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

FOUR! Streaky! Luck is against John here. He can't do much. A yorker on leg, Young makes room and looks to flick but inside edges it well past the keeper and to fine leg for a boundary.
