Krunal Pandya Profile:
Krunal Pandya, an allrounder and brother of Hardik Pandya, was drawn to the game as a result of his father Himanshu, taking his sons to the stadium in Vadodara when the cricket carnival came to town. The brothers started training at Kiran More’s academy in the city. Krunal, who is seen as a limited-overs specialist, has played 4 List A games and 15 T20s for Baroda. However, he hasn’t played since March 2015 due to a labral tear in his shoulder that required surgery. He did get picked up in the IPL auction by Mumbai Indians for INR 2 crores.
Former India team selector Sharandeep said,
“If Hardik Pandya does not bowl in the ODI International format, then Krunal Pandya may not be your fifth bowler.” Sharandeep said, “Krunal Pandya batted well, but Krunal cannot do 10 overs.”
New Delhi: Former India team selector Sharandeep Singh believes that if Hardik Pandya does not bowl, then there is no place in the ODI team for Krunal Pandya. Sharandeep said, “If Hardik Pandya does not bowl in ODI International format, then He may not be your fifth bowler.”
Krunal cannot do 10 overs’
Sharandeep said, “Krunal Pandya batted well, but Krunal cannot do 10 overs. He is a good T20 player, but when it comes to ODIs, He does not have the talent to present the challenge to the opposing batsmen. In the 20 World Cups, the experienced opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan should come down.
Kohli wishes about open in T20 ?
Explain that Team India captain Virat Kohli wishes to open in T20. After the T20 series against England, Kohli said that he would open in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which led to the possibility of him and Rohit Sharma landing as openers in the World Cup. In the T20 series, Shikhar Dhawan got a chance to play only one match. Sharandeep said, “It was full of surprises.” Dhawan did well in the IPL, did well in Australia. Whenever he plays, he performs well.
Dhawan and Rohit pair best:
Sharandeep said, ‘Shikhar Dhawan is very mentally strong. Maybe they want to try some options, but I believe that the combination of right-handed and left-handed batsmen of Rohit and Dhawan will be the best option for India in the World Cup. You cannot judge on the basis of a match.
