Krishna also spoke about the valuable lessons he got from Lasith Malinga.
Prasidh Krishna, the Karnataka pacer, recently tasted success with India. Since his debut against England in March 2021, he has impressed everyone. His performance in his debut game was impressive as well, as he registered the best bowling figures for an Indian bowler on his ODI debut, claiming 4/54. In seven ODIs, the pacer has already taken 18 wickets.
He also shared his opinion on what “greatness” means for him. “Greatness is very relative, I think for me to have the same kind of life, to be able to do what I am doing today, on and off the field, to have content when I am done playing cricket. I should be in a state of ‘yes, this is what I could do, I have given it my all and it’s all done. I have put it all on the field and there is nothing that I have remaining within me to give for cricket’.”
“So, I think if I get to such a place by the end of my career, I think I would have achieved greatness. No matter what level of cricket I would have ended up playing by then, but then if I have the feeling, I have given it my all, I think that is ‘greatness’ for me.”
In IPL 2022, Krishna has taken four wickets in five IPL games at an economy of 8.15. He will be eying the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia and IPL is the best platform to give an audition.
