India have Announced The 15-man Squad For ODI World Cup 2023
India announced an expected 15-man squad for next month’s World Cup. KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer recently made a return to the one day after recovering from their long-term injuries during IPL and before. SKY is also selected in the squad for the backup of the middle order line up. Sanju Samson, the in and out choice of the Indian team is not added in the squad. Also, Tilak Varma and Prasidh Krishna are the other omissions.

Suryakumar, the world’s current No.1 batter in T20Is, has struggled to recreate the impact in ODI cricket for a while. In the absence of KL Rahul & Shreyas Iyer, SKY had got many chances but failed to score a big knock.
Bowlers & All Rounders For India In ODI World Cup 2023
Prasidh and Jasprit Bumrah had made their comeback from long-term injury but only the latter had made it to the final 15 as expected. Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur will be the core in fast-bowling department apart from all rounder Hardik Pandya. Shardul Thakur opted over Prasidh in India’s final 15 for his bowling skills. Let’s see how it will work for Team India.
Yuzvendra Chahal has been excluded from both the Asia Cup and World Cup 2023 squads, with Kuldeep Yadav chosen as the primary wrist spinner. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel have been selected as the other two spin options which strengthen the Indian team’s batting ability in the lower order. Ishan Kishan, who played a pivotal role by scoring a crucial half-century in the opening match of the Asia Cup against Pakistan, has retained his position as the backup wicketkeeper-batter in the team.
