‘He is more of my type’ – Sachin Tendulkar picks his choice between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Sachin Tendulkar is the leader run-getter across formats in international cricket despite his retirement.

While many players have found it really tough to choose the best between two of the greatest footballers of this generation, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Legendary Sachin Tendulkar was also questioned the same. Tendulkar who is considered to be one of the greats of Cricket has had some mind-blowing numbers in his international career span of almost 24 years and he holds most of the records in the book.

With a huge fan base around the world for both Ronaldo and Messi, it is one of the toughest questions to pick a preference between the two, and legends from many sports have revealed their answers as well. Ronaldo at 37 is currently plying his trade for the Manchester United club while Messi at 34 recently moved away from Barcelona to the Paris Saint-German club.

Virat Kohli had also been raised the same question in an interview and unlike Tendulkar, The 33-year-old opted to prefer Ronaldo instead of Messi. He noted down that Messi is immensely talented naturally but found the willpower of Ronaldo to drive through ages as one of the unique points behind his preference.

“Tough question. But I would say Cristiano is the most complete player that I have seen. Whether it’s the left foot, right foot, speed, or dribbling skills, he’s amazing. I have not seen a better goalscorer,” Kohli was quoted earlier.

“He revolutionized the sport and everyone followed him. His place is special, but if I had to take only one in my team who will give energy and intensity, it’s Cristiano,” Kohli added
