Hasan Ali often celebrates his wicket with what is now known as a generator celebration.
During the last day of the ongoing final Test between Australia and Pakistan, David Warner hilariously celebrated Hasan Ali’s wicket in his style in front of him after Nathan Lyon dismissed him. Australia scored 227 runs at the loss of seven wickets before declaring the second innings and set up a target of 351 runs for Pakistan to chase, in order to win.
During the match, Warner celebrated Ali’s wicket in a very funny way when he enacted his style of celebration. In the 88th over of the innings, Hasan Ali was castled by Lyon after scoring 13 runs off 16 deliveries. Before losing his wicket, Ali had hit the off-spinner for a six and a four on two balls straight. And with this wicket, Lyon added a fourth wicket to his scalp.
Hasan Ali is known for his unique way of celebration, and he has been seen indulging with his fans many times at the boundary in his wicket-celebration. Out of sheer joy, Warner, who was placed at the forward-short leg, copied Ali’s celebration to send him back to the dressing room.
