On JULY 12, India kickstarted their next Test Cycle by playing against West Indies at Windsor Park, Roseau, Dominica. West Indies won the toss and elected to bat. But Ashwin showcased his impeccable skills on a parched pitch, snaring a staggering five wickets and demolishing the opposition single-handedly. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s Childhood

His childhood was far from lavish. With limited resources and access to proper training facilities, he relied solely on his determination, passion, and a burning dream to make it big in the world of cricket. Every day, he watched the sun set behind the cricket pitch, imagining himself standing there someday, wearing the Indian  jersey and playing along with some greats.

A Great Sacrifice Is A Great Success

Throughout this remarkable journey, one person stood by his side, his father. A man of modest means, his father worked tirelessly to support his son’s dreams, selling pani puri on the streets of Mumbai. Every rupee earned went towards providing the best opportunities for his son’s cricketing ambitions. The cricketer carries a deep sense of gratitude and the weight of responsibility for his father’s sacrifices.
