The 8th edition of the Shpageeza T20 Cricket League starts in Kabul (Afghanistan) from September 6.
The league consists of 6 teams and includes 15 league matches, followed by two Qualifiers, the eliminator and the final.
All the matches will be played at the Kabul International Cricket Stadium, with the league concluding on September 16.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board expected their top six players

to be a part of the Shpageeza T20 Cricket League,
which is why they preponed the league so that it does not clash with the IPL.
In doing so, it overlapped with the Caribbean Premiere League. Despite all the NOCs having already been issued,
the aforementioned six players were expected to fly back to Afghanistan for the Shpageeza T20 Cricket League
and then make their way to the UAE, for the IPL.
